CA Communications is in the midst of rolling out a 45-site Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) upgrade with disaster recovery for an insurance company based in downtown Minneapolis. "They had an existing MPLS network, but they needed to add more bandwidth. A few of their data centers weren't on the network, and everything was coming back to the corporate office—so if corporate went down, everything would go down," explains Mark Agar, CEO of CA Communications.
"Among other things, we put in redundant circuits so that even if their building in Minneapolis goes down, they're still able to function." CA Communications offered several solutions customized to their client's needs.
